January 2025: Spellwork & Offerings
An important aspect of spell work is an offering.
Be sure that Mother knows that your intention is to support Her as well.
Some things to consider while conjuring your spell;
Will this spell support my highest good? Does it also support Her highest needs?
What can we offer Mother, even if it is something simple? Is it our love? A deep respect for nature? What can we commit to Her? (or more so, what is a physical representation of our ongoing commitment to Her?)
These are just some things to consider before writing and casting your spell.
Spell work is a delicate art. Like weaving a tapestry of words together in order to create the highest and best outcome in our lives and the lives of those we love. Each word, each prayer, each sound, tone, and movement precariously plucked from the Ether and placed into the energetic cauldron for healing. Take your time, breathe in each letter, imprint the silence in between words, turn your prayer to song. Write and re- write over and over again until you’ve crafted the perfect symphony of hope to be lifted sky bound.
So without further adieu, and without too much overthinking. Write a spell of your choosing. Show us your ingredients list if this spell requires one. In what order are these steps take place ? Who is your guide? What physical representation or totem called to you as you made this offering? How do they support your spell work?
Write, write, write! Write about your offering! Wrire out your spell and cast your ambitions to the stars!!!
September 2024: Messages from the Oracle
Reflection: Whispering winds
An oracle is one who speaks intuitively from the wisdom of the Divine. An oracle is often speaking from the Universal “voice” without knowing or realizing it. Yet, others say they feel comforted when they’re around them.
For me, these words, messages, and incantations often flow through me like a child who has gently blow the wishies from a dandelion in a summer breeze.
Take a moment this weekend to roam in the woods. Find a wishie, clear your mind, take a deep breath… and use the Spirit breath to move the wisdom of the wishie out into the world
What do you feel? What is this process like for you? Where you envision your wishies landing? What wisdom do they carry, and to whom? Write about it or audio record the process. I can’t wait to hear from you.
August 2024: Compass Rose
Reflection: Shine
In a journal, audio diary, or meditation focus on the golden glow radiating throughout your environment. What is this experience like? Does anything interfere with your access to this space? If so, what? Name it. Write about your shine. Write about the clouds covering the sun. Write about you (or your characters) abilities to connect to the shine even when it seems it has disappeared forever.
Exercise: Pull a card or meditate on your sun sign in astrology. Set a timer for 1 minute. Write as many words that come to mind as possible in that time.
June 2024: Wisdom of the Bone Dial
Reflection: one word
In a journal, audio diary or in meditation, draw a card that represents the bone dial. In one word, what does this card tell you? Mediate on that word
Exercise: Oracle Translation
How would you write or share the wisdom of the bone dial? As a writer, consider this in your character development. As an oracle, assume your client does not know this information. Practice sharing through writing or speaking!
June 2024: Somatic Awareness & the Bone Dial
Reflection: In a journal or an audio diary, answer the following quesions from the wisdom of your intuition:
WHERE do you feel this image in your body?
WHAT sensation comes up in that body part?
HOW does that make you feel?
Exercise: Act it out!
Stand up in an open area. Place your hands on the body part correlated with this image. Now move your hands with the motion of the sensation that emerges from this body part! What happens? How do your hands move? How does your body respond?
June 2024. Oracle Card Creation
Reflection 1: Tap into your inner artist!
This picture of an oracle card is incomplete! If you were writing and illustrating an oracle deck, what would you name this card? What images would you include? How would you establish a connection to the recipient as an oracle?
Exercise: Make an oracle card!
Print this photo out. Sit with it. Meditate on it. Edit it. What images would you take out? What images would you add?
What is it saying to you, the story- teller? What story does this card portray? Title the card and write a description!
Exercise 2: How do you see yourself in this card? Speak, write, or create song lyrics to describe the nature of YOUR story in relation to this image.
June 2024.
Reflection 1. I am the Oracle
Summer is for oracle development! Whether you are a long time
reader or just beginning, we can always find ourselves in need of personal development. So, as you gaze upon this image, and settle into the power of your inner oracle… WHERE does this image ‘hit’ you? HOW does it make you feel? Listen closely, what sounds emerge from the edges of your awareness? What power does the lunar moth evoke in you?
Exercise 1. Write a story to post in the community section or tell the story about the lunar moth and the illumination of your inner gifts!
Exercise 2. Write or audio record an oracle reading based on this image! What wisdom does the lunar moth share through you?
May 2024.
Exercise #2: What if?
What if the month of May were a physical structure or a temple you could visit, what would it look like? What materials would you use to build it? How tall would it be? Write your magical May Temple to life!
Exercise #1: Actualize your inner writing temple.
Take a moment to get quiet. Quiet your heart, your mind, your spirit, and your body. Go into that quiet, even if your mind is racing, where is it racing too? Instead of fighting it, follow it. Where does it take you. Does it grab you by the wrist and pull you into a different town? into a different city? or country? Where do you find yourself when you follow the noise? Where is it your mind races is off to? Can you catch it? Chase it? Follow it? Does it take off running to the ocean or the mountains? To a winery in the French country side or a tropical island in the middle of the Caribbean sea? Are you all of these places at once? Tell me about where and how you actualize your inner temple. Write on, writers.
